Brian B. MorganA designer who codes, and a maker who cares about the human experience.
I’m an experienced marketing leader focused on designing and delivering programs that feel thoughtful and well-run. My background spans event technology, integrated marketing, and experience strategy, with deep experience translating complex goals into clear plans with calm execution. I work at the intersection of creative judgment and operational discipline shaping customer journeys that go beyond content and leave people feeling truly taken care of and pipelines full.
I started on the design side, shipping visual systems for teams that had strong ideas and thin design support. Filling that gap became the job. Over the years it grew into a practice that runs on three lanes: building products, producing the events that launch them, and drawing the identities that hold everything together.
The through-line is endurance and operational clarity under ambiguity. I'd rather ship an experience that has long-lived impact than ten that fade into history. That bias shows up in how I work: strategy before execution, documentation as part of the deliverable, and a strong preference for taste that outlives trend cycles.
How I work
- Small teams, direct lines. I work best embedded with the people who own the problem: no layers, no telephone.
- Working systems over theater. Purpose-driven beats spectacle. A prototype or plan that lands and sticks.
- The last five percent. Easing curves, small touches, audits: the details nobody budgets for are the ones people remember.
Now
I take on a handful of projects each quarter from my studio in Portland. Between engagements I write, speak, and keep a workshop habit: the thought leadership section is where that thinking lands.
